MARCH 17, 2020

The health and safety of every person that comes on our campus is a priority. In response to the COVID-19 global pandemic, and in following recommendations by the CDC regarding the gathering of people, we are suspending public attendance for our services this week 3/18 & 3/22. We will be broadcasting our services ONLINE via Facebook Live.

We will continue to monitor the situation, and work with health authorities to determine when we will resume services again. Please continue to be in prayer for all of those who are affected by this virus, our community, nation and world.
We have confidence that the Lord is fighting for us. “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10

Stay safe, and be blessed!

MARCH 12, 2020

With heightened awareness and public concerns regarding the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), we want to assure you that we are carefully monitoring this situation at Bethesda Church of God and are taking a proactive approach to ensure our environments are clean, safe and that your health and well-being is a top priority.

At Bethesda, we are very intentional about providing a clean and safe environment for you and your family. We have already enhanced our cleaning procedures. This includes a comprehensive cleaning of all restrooms and high touch surfaces including doorknobs, toys, faucets, handrails, etc. In addition to our already extensive cleaning, the cleaning team cleans after each service. Our G^Kids classrooms and toys are disinfected after each service by staff and volunteers. We also have hand sanitizers in visible places throughout the building.

We encourage you to wash your hands frequently and to refrain from simple actions such as shaking hands, touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands. Cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue. Also, if you or your children are ill, please stay home and watch our services online at facebook.com/bethesdacog .

At this time, we are following the guidelines of the CDC and the overall risk to the general public remains low.

Pastor Sims will be preaching this Sunday and we are expecting a mighty move of God. We hope to see you this weekend. Choose FAITH over fear! 2 Timothy 1:7 says, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”
